Application for Membership in the San Diego Association of Diabetes Educators may be done at any time during the year.  Membership is on an anniversary basis to coincide with AADE. Membership will begin in the month you join and will expire on the last day of that month in one year. For example, if you join in June of 2009, your membership will expire June 30, 2010. 

You do not have to be a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) to join SDADE.  


There are two membership categories to choose from: 

    Regular Membership Category:
    -eligible to serve on the board or be a committee chair
    -you must be an AADE member
    -you do not have to be a CDE
    -cost is $40.00 per year
   
    Friend of SDADE Category:
    -not eligible to serve on the board or be a committee chair
    -you do not have to be an AADE member
    -you do not have to be a CDE
    -cost is $45.00 per year
